Anyone else not able to stream their screen on discord while using the Jagex launcher? It works fine on the client version, but when my friend using the Launcher tries to stream, the rs window is all blacked out. You can still see the outline of the window (the top part with the X in the corner) and I see the custom rs mouse moving around, under a blacked out screen. It does that when trying to stream either Rs application or whole screen.
On another note, he tried to search for the client download on rs website and he couldnt find it, so I sent him the raw exe file for the client that I still have. After downloading and installing it, it opens the launcher, not the client...

2023.05.28 08:13 JasonBall34 Artemis Fowl is now gone from Disney+
Obviously there will be a ton of "good riddance" types of comments (there already are), but this is a genuine loss, just based on the principles of media preservation, if you believe in the perpetual availability of content. Over 100 titles have been removed from Disney+ and Hulu today, a huge portion of which have literally no legal way to watch them now. Artemis Fowl was never released on physical media or digital storefronts (which aren't reliable anyways). It's possible Disney will license some of the removed titles to other streaming services. But not guaranteed. For all we know, Artemis Fowl is permanently unavailable legally.
Side note: Also removed from Disney+ is the episode of Disney Insider in which Eoin Colfer gives a tour of locations in Ireland, which was filmed back then to promote the movie's release.
The "good riddance" types of comments about the movie are missing the point. The hundreds, perhaps thousands of talented people who worked on it, across all departments, none of which were at fault for the movie's problems, have just had their hard work deleted from the realm of legitimate viewing. I feel so sorry for them. Actors, artists, builders, animators, etc... A movie is more than the public opinion about it, and just because a lot of people think the movie sucks doesn't mean it's right or good that it's been removed.
It is also worth re-iterating the pedigree of the movie. 2 actors who have been nominated for Oscars were in this movie. 2 of them were nominated before the movie, 2 were nominated after. 2 of the 4 are actually winners. This is in addition to the Oscar-nominated composer. I don't care about the Oscars personally, but Hollywood brass sure seem to for some reason. And the weight of the huge names attached to this thing were still not enough to save it. This is the director of Thor, one of Disney's prized IP. The voice of Olaf stars in it, another one of Disney's prized characters.
It also must be a huge blow to our main man Eoin Colfer, who had to wait 18 years for the movie to be filmed after he sold the film rights. The entire time, being told it would surely happen soon. Several false starts. He didn't think it would ever happen. And then it did, and the entire internet tore into it, and now to top it all off, it's gone. I feel so badly for him.
Those reprints of the novels that have stickers which say "now a major motion picture on Disney+" and the like aren't true anymore. Yes, there will always be illegitimate copies on the internet. But we shouldn't have to resort to that.

So this just happened tonight and I can't find an explanation anywhere. My fiance and I were watching TV and shadows started appearing the in TV screen, at first nothing distinguishable, it just looked like a backlight going out. Eventually, it's a very obvious silhouette of a person. I paused the TV at a scene where the screen was totally black. In the TV, there's a shadow image of a human from the waist up, wearing a fedora, you can see the couch behind them as if they're sitting on it. To their right is our window, and the window curtain. In the shadow, the curtain is pulled all the way to one side. Our curtain is currently drawn closed. I tried changing what we were watching, but it remained. Both of us saw the exact same thing so this wasn't one of us seeing stuff. I then turned off the TV, turned it back on, and the image was gone, but the Roku was flickering between the menu and the TV showing "no signal". I restarted the Roku, then everything went back to normal.

But can you explain why? I see this mostly with people who only wat Slime, Phil, or Wilbur (or even that those are the only 3 they do watch).
For you do you enjoy content only from creators you already know and are comfortable with? Or it is because you prefer POV that is outside of lore?
But some people only watch Quackity too and he is very lore heavy but doesn't stream often. So a lot of context is missed?
Or maybe it's just because you don't have enough time?
For me personally, wheever there's an interaction, I NEEED to see the other person's POV. Like what were they talking about before and after. Did they mute during the conversation to say something to just their chat so other players didn't hear a secret. Was there in game private chats that i missed in another POV?
Again i hope this comes across the way i want it to. Im just curious because i see in stream chats all the time of people who have missed things that happen on many POVs over weeks of time.

Hey guys, so I've had a GW2 twitch stream with drops enabled running in the background for a few hours now but haven't received the bag drop? I'm only at 16% out of the 2 hours required for the bag but somehow haven't gotten the bag to appear for claiming in my twitch inventory.
I noticed that for the other drops, it has taken way longer than 2 hours to get the EoD shirt and about 1 hour of watch time for each of the 3 upgrade extractors instead of the required 20 minutes for one.

- validated game files many times
- reinstalled rec room 5+ times
- moved rec room / steam library instal to SSD
- opened ticket and included log file (they did try to help but no luck)
- verified it also crashes on pancake mode at same time
- verified it also crashes using revive or using virtual desktop or using display port or pico streaming.
- updated, and clean installed drivers many times
- updated .net and visual c++ stuff
- searched online
- verified it happens on new and / or junior account too
- removed all OC
- updated / reset / played with BIOS
- Checked the log myself. It's pretty verbose though so I am not sure what part may or may not indicate the problem. "NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object." looks problematic but who knows.
- reset all gfx card settings
- deleted AppData\LocalLow\Against Gravity\Rec Room folder.
- disabled / re-enabled steam synch while doing various of the above
- disabled all LED stuff.
- checked for related windows updates
- verified I /can/ play with the account on another system (stand alone on the HMD, with terrible fps and res)
- 11700K
- 3090
- 16GB RAM
- plenty of disk space
- win 10

I will try and keep this short!
I have 2 systems, a Gaming system and an auxiliary system that I use as a streaming system (it has other functions as well but when streaming, thats all its doing). Hardware is fairly modern in each and so far, streaming has been mostly fine (seemingly plenty of hardware headroom, not running into any "CPU or GPU maxed out" walls). The issue is audio. With my current setup, audio is "ok" but the issues are two-fold: -First up is that since I am basically just using a splitter, when I reach a volume level for the content that sounds good to listeners, it is WAY to loud on the headphone side for me. -Second, since the audio-side equipment is indeed, NOT the best, I do get a low level "hiss" as well
Would adding a dedicated sound card to the streaming system help? An external "device/mixer" of some kind? I am more than willing to grab the hardware that would best fit just not certain where to start.
I am using OBS on the Streaming System but adjustments there seem to hit a "wall" where, sound remains to quiet for viewers unless I adjust on the gaming system to a level that is simply way to loud for myself.
Gaming System Relevant Specs: -Gigabyte Auros Master X570 (onboard audio disabled) -Ryzen 5950 -128GB DDR4 -RTX 4080 -Soundblaster Z Sound Card (older version, 8+years)
Streaming System Relevant Specs: -Gigabyte X99p -Intel 5930k -64GB DDR4 -GTX 1080Ti -Onboard Audio Only
Current Bad-News- Audio Setup: (sound levels result in to quiet for viewers or way to loud for myself, including an introduced "hiss", its quiet, but its there) -3.5 line out (Soundblaster Z) from gaming system -Spilt to headphones and to line in (onboard audio) to streaming system
Alternatively I have gone with: (Sound levels are similar, either to loud for me or to quiet for viewers, no "hiss" with this method though) -3.5 headphone out on the "mini receiver" of my Logitech Z-5500 -Again split to headphones and to line in on streaming system
So, Sound Card upgrade for Gaming System and SB Z into the Streaming System? Or something external like a GC 7? Or something beyond that in the realm of a better mixer?
Note- No mic issues at all, using an Elgato Wave 3 and while its certainly not an amazing mic, for my content (gaming) it is just fine.

Hey guys, out of curiosity, I have a powerful PC at home but am often on the go.
I am looking for a way (on the cheap) to Stream my Host PC to a 2k/4k 120hz screen.
I was searching online and laptops with 2k (equivalent) Oled screens are expensive $800+
Is there a cheapo minimum hardware spec laptop but with a great screen and refresh rate?
I've also seen portable monitors such as this one that's Oled and 2k but I don't know if I hook it up to my old 1080p 60hz laptop would it still work and would Parsec recognize the new screen and allow streaming of the external monitor specs to it?
Keep in mind my current laptop can't handle 4:4:4 and pretty much my eyes constantly get strained due to lowered and loss of quality
any other suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
