I was in Thailand for two weeks with some friends. The last month we spent in the south in a villa in a gated complex. After a few days, a little stray cat showed up to the villa. She didn't look great but was very calm and nice. I started to feed and pet her, and she came back the next day. She would come back every morning, and gradually warm up. I took her to the vet so they can look at her and treat her for anything she might have. Turns out she has leukemia and FIV. Which means she basically has 2-3 years tops to live. Most likely less if she stays a stray. I cared for her more and more and she basically lived with me after a week. Slept in my room, ate here. I would let her leave when she wanted so she could roam and have fun, but she would always come back several times during the day. She was so affectionate and gentle. She looked much better after two weeks and was very playful and energetic. Since I didn't want to leave her alone when I left, I managed to find a shelter ran by a woman who could take care of her when I left, provided I take care of the costs. I happily obliged and even donated $1k so she could renovate an area outside so the FIV FeLV cats could play outside. She was also supposed to spay her after I brought her.
The day before my trip, I took her there, and left her. She was visibly distressed, she hissed at me and attacked me when I tried to pet her goodbye, thing she never ever did once before. The lady was kind to her and put her in a big cage so she could adapt to the surroundings and not attack the other indoor cats that were there, since she was very aggressive.
Well yesterday, I took the plane back to another country, and I got a message saying she escaped through an opened window. That fucking idiot let her out and let a window opened. So now she's in an unfamiliar environment, a mile away from my old place, completely lost and fending for herself.
I wish to god I could have adopted her but I don't even have a place to live and I move from one Airbnb to the next, and switch countries often, so I couldn't bring her with me and have her live a life full of stress of moving an indoor. Not to mention even if I wanted to put her through that, I couldn't even bring her as she isn't microchipped and stuff so can't even bring her in another country.
I'm absolutely devastated, I can't stop crying. She was the most gentle soul, so nice and affectionate. And I placed my trust in that stupid person who let her escape. She told me she's going to put posts and stuff, but nobody gives a shit and nobody looks at them anyway. Now she's going to die run over by a car, attacked or fall sick and die somewhere alone. Fuck people. Stupid useless worthless incompetent people.

First I wanna say Im in a ldr , this happened when we were on videochat and it's my first relationship. Im 23 and my bf is 22. Also Eng is not my first language.
A few days ago, my bf and i got into an argument and he broke his pc monitor out of anger. He says its just his way of showing anger and how can he do if I say doing like that is wrong. He has tendencies to throw things away or like hitting desk to show his anger. I made him angry, i admit it. I kept cutting in while he was trying to explain. We were talking about how much Rollsroyce is and I said isnt it about 10million(in KRW , im Korean) ? and he said it's not that's when it's customized but I looked up on google and found that there's 10million Rollsroyce so I was claiming there is one but he got mad at me not listening to him and keep talking that im right. He said he knows cars well bc he studies cars at uni. I ignored and kept saying i see a news article and if he's trying to basically say news are fake xD I was just talking half jokingly way bc the topic we were arguing was quite stupid and funny.. not even serious. But he got serious by himself and got worked up by what i said and lost his temper, yelled at me to listen to him, punched sth (i didnt exactly see it) and a few moments later, he said he broke his monitor and he has to buy a new one. Then it was just his complaints on and on about his broken monitor He has no money he has to pay the half of the gov money back blah blah blah. I said im sorry about making him mad but that accident is not my fault, he could've made it not happen. He agreed but i felt kind of bad bc of my childish attitude (i lack of communication skill i admit this..never had this close relationsihp before in my life) so i said ill pay for his monitor. He said let's share and he suggested me pay 80% lol The monitor was 230K (in KRW) and we made an agreement, me paying 150K. I'm okay with paying I dont complain about the money but it's just weird. I might've been the reason of him being this angry but I didnt break it and it couldve been avoided. I told him he has a serious anger issue and it's his true color cuz he kept saying he had never broken things like this in 7 years Do u think i should pay? During that first COVID summer I bought an inflatable boat (it's a real boat not a toy lol) so my wife and I could get out on some of the lakes in the parks near our house without investing in a truck & trailer. It sat in the garage unopened for the past 3 years.
I landed on cirrhosis last weekend and spiralled. Something stuck, because I've done what I couldn't do for years/over a decade - shut down the drinking.
This morning, after the first Friday I didn't drink in memory, my wife and I were having coffee together (already a great Saturday morning) and I remembered the boat. Now, I had remembered the boat several times in the past and I love being out on the water, but I had been too lazy, too out of shape, too hungover, and too unwilling to give up a socially acceptable afternoon drinking window to commit to unboxing and figuring out the damn thing.
From the time I had the idea this morning I; unboxed it, figured it out, packed in into the car, packed a full-on picnic, went to the park, paddled it across the lake where they were having an art fair, did the art fair thing, had a picnic with my wife (coke zero, no beer or white claw), got back in the boat, she did some reading I did some fishing, paddled back, and we spent the early evening heading to a few stores to get the trolling motor setup because we wanted to go back out tomorrow.
My wife said it was the best day she'd had with me in a long time. I agreed.

I've been living in Philly for 2 years now and every parking ticket I've ever gotten was incorrect/unwarranted, PPA was either just wrong or their technology doesn't work and I know I'm not the only one. It seems that more and more people are getting ticketed when they have paid their meter because when they come to scan the plates, the paid meter just doesn't show up. A few weeks ago, I walked to my car which still had 30mins left on the meter and a PPA person was scanning it. I said "This one is mine and I still have 30mins" and he replied, "my machine says you never put any time on the meter and I was about to write you up, you just avoided a ticket". I checked multiple times and according to the app, I still had 30mins. Lots of my friends are having these same situations.
I'd really like to send a complaint to whichever body has authority over PPA, but it seems they are self-governing. I really want the city to do something because PPA is doing this to tons of people. It doesn't really matter to me if they are just bad at their jobs or if their technology doesn't work. It needs to be fixed regardless and they are ineffective at their jobs and harming people's lives. Parking tickets are expensive and incredibly frustrating and even if you contest them, they continue to send you threatening mail about fines doubling and court dates and other scary-sounding things. It seems that they never actually look at your case or delete the ticket. I'm lucky enough to be able to handle just paying a few to make them go away, but many people can't and this is a really sucky thing to do to people.

please bear with me as I try to explain, so give you a better understanding of my question at the end.
I been looking for a car for a while. Something mid luxurious and within my budget. I moved and sold car and decided my next new car should be an SUV. I have also owned sedans and wanted to switch to SUV. Bigger, mover truck space and other things.
After tones of research, I ended up on Volkswagen SEL R Line. Everything else is too much money. Anyway, I quickly found out it is almost impossible to find a dealership that Carrie’s that model, let alone the interior color I wanted. I Put a deposit Down but it’s been like 2 months and they say the order is still showing up as in queue.
So I started looking into Acura. I really liked the MDX A-Spec tech but it’s too much money. I also like that TLX A-spec tech ( I know it’s not an suv but I have to open my options at this point) but it’s too much money too.
I ended up at the Integra A-spec tech. Great car, love it for many of the same reasons other ppl love it too but there is something about the inside of it that just makes it feel a little small and am not sure why. I fit in it ok but I just don’t know what it is.
I tested drive it and all. after a lot of back and forth with the dealership gave me a good deal on the Integra about 1500 off when all was set and done.
Now, they also give me the same off on the TLX but on the base trim. The TLX looks nice too and feels little bigger inside. It’s not as fully loaded as the Integra but I thought after like 2 yrs or so if I got it I could trade it for something better maybe get an SUV I wanted.
My question is would it be better to take the 2023 Integra A-spec tech or the TLX base trim which is more money than the integra value could be more if kept in good condition. I most likely will be trading whatever car I got for something better.

When I was pregnant with my son, his dad had to go to the psych ward because he went to a party and he was convinced someone stabbed him him in the neck with a needle to poison him…he went to the ER and they suggested he check into a psych ward to be assessed. He was just diagnosed with alcohol dependency, anxiety. Depression but didn’t share a lot of his paranoias with them. He got out and was on a myriad of medicine. One evening, he took a bunch of pills and drank like half a fifth - he was acting really erratic. He pushed me and grabbed me by the neck and his friends asked me to take him somewhere else because of the way he was acting. He passed out and woke up in my car yelling that I was trying to kidnap him and was trying to steer my car off the road and unbuckle himself and threaten to jump. Things progressed and he always thought there was s white truck following him, that a terrorist used to own his cell phone and the FBI was after him, that he bought a toolbox where someone has murdered someone with a tool from it and the cops thought it was him, that my family was hacking into his electronics ETC.
He wasn’t really around after the baby was born. Eventually he got his diagnosis after one time he stole his stepdads bike and tried to drive it to Mexico with a burner phone because people were after him. After that particular situation and him being gone for so long / knowing clearly something was going on I said I wouldn’t send my son out there but he could visit him at my home or we could meet places. Eventually his mom reaches out after months and asked to meet. She begrudgingly notified me of his schizoaffective diagnosis and accused me of discriminating against him. We decided that he could still go visit as long as when he was there someone else was also home. This worked for awhile until one night I went to pick him up and he wasn’t home. His mom ( sons grandma ) was at the bar and she left my son alone with his dad and he took off and nobody could find him. I ended up having to call the sheriff and eventually he returned after multiple hours in the middle of the night. My son was crying and confused ( he was 5) and he said he don’t eaten or drank anything all day- he has him in multiple layers of clothes with the heater on and he was very hot. My son said his dad told him people were after them and following them in the creek in the woods and they were up there selling firewood…it was the middle of fall in oregon in the rain. After this they told all their family I was exaggerating ..I didn’t show up to her my son and so he has to take him to run errands.
Fast forward and he has gone off his meds multiple times but I’m always kept in the dark about it. Once he showed up to my home on drugs running from someone who had just been with him and robbed a store. My son is almost 10 now and he made the big decision to go on vacation with his dad and his grandparents for spring break to AZ. Last minute this destination is changed to vegas and I’m very worried. My son called me crying day three FaceTimed me and his dad was drunk passed out on the couch holding his beer. He binge drank for three days straight and terrified my son. One evening he didn’t come back to the room and the next day the family was out and he FaceTimed them from the room with a random man he met on the streets that was showing him around he says. My son said the guy looked really scary and he was worried about his dad and the decisions he was making. My son has not seen his dad since the vacation two months ago because it’s spiraled into a big situation. Today I tried to speak to him to understand what’s going on and eventually he told me he hasn’t been on his schizoaffective meds for two years and he blames the therapist for diagnosing him incorrectly when he was just in a what he says psychosis from being on Ritalin for so long- he says he is managing fine and I don’t know what to believe about everything? I tried to convince him to attend a therapy session with my son but he thinks the therapist is out to get him and prove him unfit / ruin his relationship with his son and he doesn’t want my “ drama.” Does anybody have opinions on this situation or advice ?

Other driver at fault, and their insurance (Esurance) has offered $1,000 for pain and suffering plus is covering the ER visit. Friend is asking me for advice. Should he take it? Ask for more?
I was surprised they volunteered anything for pain and suffering, considering the way they treated the payout for the totaled car, so I just wonder if he should try to ask for more.
They stonewalled him on the settlement for his car, which was totaled. They appraised his car as “fair” condition, and sent kbb.com valuation showing around $1500 for fair. Per the KBB.com condition “wizard” his car should be considered “good”. He asked them to reevaluate. They said the only way to fight the valuation is to provide THREE examples of a same make/model/sub model with similar mileage within a 50 mile radius. Since the car is ancient (2006) there are ZERO vehicles that meet the same criteria.

Here is the tale of my adventure with the headhunting banner we got for the Siracusa AK event, Through a path of briars...
So, I am a MASSIVE Texas fan, she's my girl, no one is better than my lovely, quiet and stalwart Texas, last of her name and prime pestering target of Lappland. Essentially this means I've been saving every single orundum I own ever since the announcement of a TEXAS EVENT! (oh god the excitement!)
Finally, our cool chika was gonna get her own event and even better than that, BECOME A 6 STAR OP!
So, I saved and saved, spending nothing on Mylnar's banner because I got him for free on my 4th pull (Yes, I know, you hate me :D) and managed to save 240k pure orundum, alongside my life savings of 720 OP, so basically I was SET AF for this banner.
And boy what a banner it was, I shall now tell you what happened and how:
Day one, hour one, minuet one - Spend all my free tokens/rolls/ten pull and get nothing.. spend another 30k and pull the girl, the lady, the wolf herself, my beloved TEXAS as I was sitting in my car waiting for the workday to start 15 mins from now. Absolute elation, listened to every voice line, made her main bae on the screen and immediately got her to E2/90 and began her road to M3 (third skill ofc). Used her absolutely everywhere and my god, she's so god damn powerful and cool (UGH, I'm such a simp! :P)
That was that for 2 days... I did the event and nothing else, that is until I just so happen to watch a video witch (and to my shame) showed me that in the Limited Pool was my favorite Horse Lady, the one and only Nearl The Radiant Knight, who to my shame, I had sobbingly failed to pull on her banner all those months ago.
Suddenly a fire was lit underneath me, I WILL NOT MISS THIS CHANCE AGAIN! I screamed internally, as I had every intention of pulling for Penance anyway to add her to my wonderous collection, but like on the last day after exhausting all the free pulls I got.
As I finish work and head home, the game resets and I get my daily free pull. Who should it be, but of course: Main Bae Texas once again! Which is fine because hey, why not right? But I'm no whale, I don't spend anything on this beautiful game other than my time (which I give freely) so getting another rank and reducing her already cheap DP -1 was fine with me, but the new mission was to spend all the necessary orundum to bring home NTR once and for all, and boy did I not know what the game had in store for me...
I lie on my bed, two pillows stuffed under my chest, hand gripped tightly... It was time to say goodbye to my mountain of orundum I had so cautiously saved, I was a man on a mission. I pulled 10 at a time, and to my surprise, I got so very many 6 stars!
First came Horn, the amazing "Tank" (LOL) that I Had been jibbed back a year ago and never got! Oh the envy I had over my friends, so that was simply amazing, next came (drumroll please...) YET ANOTHER TEXAS! WOW, I mean damn girl, I love you but STAHP! Nah, I could never be mad at you <3.
After that I got Stainless (eww) certainly didn't want him, but eh, another sixer never hurt. Next came another lady I didn't much care for in the form of Archetto, so I was like: "Oh cool, I spose" don't gotta grab her in the store now", but finally, I get a double pull and who does it happen to be? None other than the lady of Mafia backed Justice herself, Penance! or should I say, Penance and her twin sister, cos I got two of her in one pull, which is decent because she's got a high DP cost and I totally wanna abuse the game with her and mommy Mudrock /kiss.
On the way to 300 pulls, we're now sitting at 180, so we've passed the point of no return and then some, I go again and out comes Fiametta (Who I totally have the hawts for btw!) and despite her not quite fitting my all star team, she'll do will in my reserves, blowing fools to bits. So yeah, lots of decent luck on the way, every time the bag glows I'm just begging God to let me get NTR before 300 so I could be done and dusted.
We now enter the cold streak! Not a damn thing for ages, it's not until pity kicks in that I get another in the form of Blemishine, who is just cute and darling, but I already had... But hey, will take! We keep going and keep going and not we near the very end, we are at exactly 297/300 rolls, so it's time to stop my tenners, ignore the number on the top right having lost so much weight, and roll 3 little singles to the finish line.
I did exactly that, and the game poetically decided that on pull 300, I would yet once again get my main girl, my own true love, Texas for the fourth time! TALK ABOUT LIMITED! I sigh, give her a sly smile and tell her I loved her too (who knew this former gangster could be so damn clingy!)
I open the spark show, click on NTR and complete the mission! I bought her skin day one just in case I would ever get her (looking at you too Dusk -.-) and took her home where she belonged, with the hoard of other sixers I not gotta build after the Orirock event we got here ends, which is fine cos I got like 10 mil LMD anyway due to it being 1 of 2 stages I throw my energy at!
So, how's that for 300 pulls eh? 10 sixers, 10 free tokens, 1 free ten pull, 168,000 Orundumb leaving me with a widdle over 33k for the next limited (Yato) or whoomever else grabs my attention before then.

I am sure some do this different. Can someone tell me the order in which one reassembles and automatic watch w/date complication. (Specifically 2824) Example-1st balance paler fork. 2nd motion works 3rd keyless works 4th bridge ect.. 5th date wheel I am just wondering how many different ways there are that people do this. I have been breaking down a lot of watches that need attention. All of them did move nicely before I took them apart. They either gained or lost heavy amounts of time as well as showing jacked up numbers on the TG. Also I could tell that these watches hadn’t been serviced for a LONG LONG time. I also have NOS movements that are so old that I just know they need the love. I am a trained technician, and I know how to not F$&k things up when taking them apart. I also know how to read instruction properly. As a trained Motorcycle technician I am used to working on smaller scale machines(smaller then cars/trucks. Electric hasn’t really clicked to master level yet. So mechanical watches are definitely something can grasp and embrace. I am so grateful that something has came into my life that I am passionate about. I really appreciate all of you watch folks out there who’s minds are churning into this movement. Thanks

We just got each of our twins a 2023 SEL Elantra with convenience package. It shows it has back up sensors on the screen. I cannot find them (sensors) on the car, it doesn’t beep when we get close to an object, I have gone into the settings and messed with it but still nothing. Anyone have this problem? 1. Wouldn’t I see little circles on the bumper for sensors? 2. It shows it has the “blind spot indicator on.” Could I be not in the right spot for turning it on?

A few posts back I mentioned how disconnected each episode feels and that it's easy to tell that each is written by a different writers and how I'd want them to reference past/previous episodes more. For example Vic cried I the car in 6x17 but it wasn't mentioned at all in the finally. Which had me confused.
A retired actor mentioned that this is done intentionally so that re-runs of the show can be done in any order and it's called a stand-alone episode.
I get why they do it now but I'd still love storylines to flow into one another more. Most things from past season never get mentioned by the characters ever again.

We were leaving Barnes and Noble and I showed her a Berserk themed art project I made. She wanted to know the context of the scene so I gave her a pretty vague answer of "He's just resting". I then gave her context of why it was such an iconic and important panel. This lead me to just explaining the entire story arc by arc during the whole car ride home and while at home from 9:00 to 11:30. Despite me occasionally getting some events out of order that I had to correct and forgetting some things that became important later I then had to explain quickly, I was able to give a relatively descriptive summary of the entire story.

Has anyone had a delivery from a person different than the person who's photo show up as who your shopper is? I get delivery a lot. The person who was my shopper was an African American guy, the person who came to my door was a Mexican woman.... I reported it. The car was parked where I couldnt see it so I dont know if the man was in the car or not. But this was the first time this has been a thing for me. Is it normal or even allowed?
