I get a lot of teenage acne, and benzoyl peroxide has proved to be quite effective in treating it. However, I had a few questions regarding its usage.

1. Do I really have to wash it off after around 30 mins? What if I do not?
2. Is it okay to apply it 3 times a day?

Other questions regarding general skincare:

1. Is applying alum on face effective is treating acne?
2. Should I use an antiseptic soap like Dettol to clean my face?

Homebirth question: Any tips from those of y’all who set up your own birthing tub? I’m just going to buy one, as it seems it would be cheaper than using a rental service to come set it up BUT I want to be sure I’m prepared for the task. I know I’ll need the pump to empty it after. I’m not sure what specific advice I’m looking for but those who did this - what would you have done differently? What worked well for you? Is it going to be a nightmare to empty/clean up/tear down after having a baby?

i frequently host parties for friends (~20 ppl) at my house. summer is approaching & i’ve been wanting to plan pool parties. invites were sent and i gave them a set of rules, as i do with every party. one of the rules was bring your own towel. they know i’m neurodivergent so i explained how gross and uncomfy it feels when other ppl use me and my family’s towels no matter how much i wash them. it gives me bad anxiety & paranoia. i apologized in advance and made it clear that i wouldnt share if they forgot. in the past when people used our towels they’d hardly return them, leave them dripping on our wood floors, and create unnecessary laundry loads. my parents agree & get frustrated. because of this history and discomfort i let them know it was BYOT
another rule was bring adequate amount of clothing. this included swimsuits, undergarments, clothes, and a spare set in case they got wet or had an accident. similar to sharing towels, sharing clothes disgusts me. it feels contaminated and i hesitate to wear an item if its been worn
the day of the party came. reminded the rules the night before. everything went well until my friend showed up and forget a bikini. she asked if i had an extra one for her and i said no. some of my other friends said “come on” or sarcastically asked “you dont have anything she can wear?” despite my fear of confrontation i told her she couldnt wear my other swimsuits (fyi this friend never returns anything she borrows). she drove home to get her suit & we moved on

they said i acted extremely disrespectful. they think my obsession went too far. they said my fear was excessive and childish, which i agree with, ppl who arent neuro prolly dont understand. i can’t change the way my brain works. it makes me mad cause in other situations these friends encouraged me to stick up for myself & reassured me it’s okay to say no. also feel like an asshole bc i never responded to them. just been hiding & avoiding.

Need advice when to use an all in one polish
I have a pearl white tri coat paint on my SUV..im noticing a lot of brown rusty looking spots all over, even on the plastic bumpers.
I have a few rock chips I'm going to fill in. My plan is to fitst obv wash the car, use fall out remover -Adam's brand. Wash it off and repeat just incase.
Prep the rock chip spots lightly sanding with 1500 grit for the ones that still have visible rust if needed with qtip coverd sand paper..if not, clean with alcohol. Fill in with the paint kit (Dr color chip) and follow their directions.
I have some light scratches here and there and live in NYC so I figured why not buff and give it a shine( Chem guys all in one) and add a layer of protection, if this product even adds protection.
I have a milwaukee random orbital polisher, and 3 Chem guys pads white black orange. Thinking of using medium/ orange pad.
Do I have the order of operation correct? I'm worried the all in one might F up the paint correction. Or should i fill in the rock chip spots last?
Last thing, Going forward if I wanted to throw a coat of wax every 6 months or so on it, is there a good guide to follow? I stopped by autozone and seen a meguier wax that had diff stages to it and didnt understand if i need all of them or just one. Dude working there didn't know either. There's so many options and types of wax, it's throwing me off. I just want to add a layer of protection from all the sap/salt and protect from rust as much as I can.

So, first time pulling the ol’ girl out for the season and I’ve had nothing but issues. What started this off was that it wouldn’t start, so I hopped on chat with Sunjoe and they had me walk through a few things. Wish I had known to just press and hold the button thing. Anyway, that went fine, started right up. I get it all set up, turn it on, excited to drift into a mindless and cathartic pressure washing session to clean the siding of my house when I notice the water pooling on the grass. I squeeze the trigger and the water pressure is incredibly disappointing, it does spray but not like it did last time I used it. The leak isn’t coming from the hoses, though. It’s like somewhere inside, I think? What should I do next? Halp!

Had a pt who was actively dying in his 80s.
He had cancer, metastatic in a bunch of places, came into hospital as he didn't want to pass away at home and have that memory for his wife.
I was looking after him for a morning shift, doing my best to make sure he was comfortable, no pain and with dignity. Our assistants gave him a nice bed wash and he was all cleaned up and comfortable. Palliative care team reviewed him and they were happy with everything we were doing.
Just before handover he was sleeping with his wife and son present. I handed over to a lovely sweet nurse who I know would look after him properly.
I come to work the next day and he has passed away in his sleep sometime around midnight.

I faint every single time I do laundry. Most of the time I can only do half of the laundry (ex: put it in the washing machine) before passing out.
It makes me feel so messy and it makes the chore of laundry take forever.

TLDR: House makes my clothes smell like clay, even when washed frequently. No known mold or mildew, though the basement might have extra humidity at times. I dust surfaces and clean floors regularly. What could cause this clay smell?
Hey friends, I have an old house with an 'old house smell.' But I don't think it's musty. It's earthy but not like mildew. I only smell it when I'm away for at least a few hours, but I've noticed that the smell transfers to my clothing. Even clothes that were recently washed end up with a distinct clay scent (at least to me).
For background: I recently got rid of a lot of clothes and then washed the remaining clothes. Items that I wash frequently (pajamas) still end up with this clay scent.
In the past year I have washed many of the walls, though not all of them.
There is a basement with a washer. I don't know how damp things are behind/under the machine, but I don't regularly notice damp surfaces. Occasionally there is some overflow from a pump for the washer that seems to dry quickly.
I live in a very dry, high desert climate. I have humidifiers on the main floors and no dehumidifier.
There is no attic.
Does anyone know what could cause this smell? Is it just musty or am I actually smelling something different?

This is such a stupid question and story, but my brother is insisting that I am being an asshole and hurting someone’s feelings.
I am visiting my hometown and I was staying with a friend and her husband for one night. She was very kind and cleaned up her guestroom and made the bed for me.
We went to bed late last night, so at bedtime I made the decision to just sleep on top of the comforter using a throw blanket that was at the foot of the bed. I figured that I would save her the trouble of stripping the bed, washing the sheets, and remaking the bed by doing this. I was only in bed for about 6 hours.
I mentioned doing this to my friend so she knew that she didn’t have to remake the bed and I think she was amused and thought I was being too nice (i.e. being a doormat) but my defense was that I was only there for one night and it was such a pain to wash everything and remake the bed.
My brother is a mutual friend and heard about it later that morning from us. After she left, he told me that I was insensitive and probably offended her by doing that. He said that by not using the bed she made for me, I was snubbing her hospitality and insulting her by implying that I was too good to sleep in the bed she made for me.
AITA for not sleeping in the bed and sleeping on top of the covers and using a throw blanket?

I have bought this pc prebuilt (I know it isn’t the greatest idea) but I needed something that would let me pay it off slowly with zip pay instead of part by part.
Anyways, I’m running into an issue where my file explorers green loading bar is stuttering and flickering and I’m not sure if it is normal or not:

I have updated the Bios, updated all the graphic drivers, reinstalled windows and everything I can think of and the problem still persists.
If it is normal for windows 11 I need someone to confirm it for me because I can’t find any one else with that issue.
Edit: I have found out I get this glitch due to installing nvidia drivers, I have DDU my machine and installed older drivers and the issue is still there.. it’s just not as prominent. I have reseated the gpu, cleaned the pins.. I just don’t understand why I still get the issue (I’ve also disabled MPO to no avail)

I upgraded some of the internals to see if it would help, but nothing has changed. Is my GPU faulty?
A clean boot shows that the problems is software related, and it’s boiled down to nvidia drivers directly.. but isn’t it necessary to have a driver installed?
