2023.05.28 07:21 ExtentImpossible4416 What are your recommendations for our financial plans? We are just starting out

Long post. My wife and I both grew up poor and have next to zero financial knowledge. I’ll give a little background about where we’re at, what we have planned for the next few years, and I would really appreciate advice and suggestions about where we should go from here.
Background of where we are at now: My wife and I are both 26 and have no kids yet but plan to within the next few years. I’m military (E-4, ~3k with my special pays after tax) and my wife is about to start a GS-6 with a locality pay that brings her a little below 50k/annually. We have 25k student debt in the government loans for my Bachelor’s and my wife’s nursing program, however, it would all go away if student loan forgiveness is upheld this Summer. Not really counting on that, though. We are about to start a $140-160k mortgage (still deciding down payment) on a property and home of about $250k in value. We got a big family discount and intend to hold on to this home as our family home once we get back full-time in 6-10ish years.
Both of our cars were paid in full with cash and are good for the foreseeable future.
We presently live in base housing so our housing and utilities are a set amount each month and removed from my check. The home that we are in the process of inheriting/buying will have a house payment around $1,300-$1,500 for 15 years depending on the home insurance we’re able to find and if we’re able to get the property tax discount. It will have a mid 5% APR. We would like to pay this down quickly and we estimate we could probably do so in 7-10 years. In addition to my wife living in the home while I’m on deployments and such(she will take a leave of absence from her main job, will likely do short term contracting for a higher wage during this period) a sibling of mine will be staying in the house full-time as a caretaker until we return in a few year and they will be paying around half of total payment plus utilities. Raising the rent any higher for them is not something we will consider.
I’ve recently started receiving TSP match for my military retirement account and only recently began contributing meaningful amounts for my portion. I’ve got it going with 5% Roth and the government matches 5% (which goes into traditional I believe) so I have 10% (~$300) of my pay going into TSP each month. To date it’s about $2.5k. My wife is beginning her federal job soon and will also have access to starting a TSP.
We will have around 15k left in a MMSA account that has 1.1% APY after our down payment for the home.
After taxes, my Roth contributions(wife hasn’t started her TSP yet), and all of our bills are paid we’ll have between $6,000-$6,500 extra each month. That doesn’t include home owning costs which will start in late Summer. After including my sibling’s rent ours will be ~$750 per month at the highest.
Where we see the next few years: I have a little less than 3 years on my current contract but I’m considering a 3 year re-enlistment if the proper conditions are met. I’ll be promoted to E-5 in less than 2 years and then E-6 if re-enlist. I then intend to switch over to the reserves as an E-5/very close to E-6 or commission if the timing allows. It would depend upon unit location, school start, and healthcare costs. It will be hard to give up Tricare with a family, plus I’m content staying in the military until reserve retirement or until I get my professional career up and running.
Once I get out I intend to go to medical school (I’ve been accepted to one in a low COL area, will immediately commission into the reserves in a program specific to medicine with this option) or law school (will only consider the top few schools and they are mostly in high COL, will most likely stay reserves until around graduation). We intend to buy a home in whatever city I do one of these programs in. The GI bill has a good housing allowance(E-5 BAH at school zip code) and the entirety of tuition for all of the schools that I’m considering. I plan for us to have a significant amount of savings by this point and my wife plans to work at least part-time (if we have kids by then) while I’m in school and she might be around a GS 7 or 8 by this point, or she might switch back to contracting. She wants to take off a few years after I finish professional school to stay home with the kids when they are young. I absolutely support this and it’s possible that she never returns to work. I’d like to switch down to part time work in my late 40’s/50’s. We plan to see a financial advisor on base within the month for a short term plan but I’m interested in a variety of recommendations and outlooks for our long term plan.
Where to we go from here?
What are some benchmarks for savings that you recommend for our situation?
What do you recommend for our TSP contributions?
What timeframe do you recommend for paying off the house?
What extra investments do you recommend?
What are your recommended financial literacy resources?
Basically, where do we go from here?

2023.05.28 07:20 FlakySnowflake What should I replace my Jaybird Vistas with?

I have Jaybird Vista earbuds and they work fine, but they are at the end of life and I would like to try to find an upgrade.
Early in overship the Vista button paint started coming off, so they have looked terrible for a while. Now, the ear buds are really hard to get to charge in the case and no cleaning or jiggling is working consistently. I don't like that these seem made to be disposable, with no repair or support options, and they aren't particularly comfortable.
I like the hardware button, and I only listen to podcasts so I don't care about audio past "decent" and blocking out some ambient noise. Being able to program the controls to volume up/down, skip fwd/back, and wear just one is nice. I wear them on walks, yardwork, and such so wireless is important and being secure, but it does not need to pair with a watch, only android phone. I like the somewhat waterproof and lack of light when on.
6 hours of battery life is okay, but a bit longer would be nice, between putting them in the case to charge. I would like if there was a "find my" feature for the case and not just the buds, but not a deal breaker.

2023.05.28 07:20 tamagotchilovr Is this gallstone pain?

Long post ahead, just to warn you guys!
For the past 8 years, once a year, I would wake up with dull pain that would rapidly intensify within minutes into a terrible, terrible ache that I could not find relief from. It would be right under my rib cage on the left, middle and right side, and right between my shoulder blades on my back exactly on the opposite side of my front abdomen.
The pain lasts hours and I can’t sit, stand or walk around without it hurting horribly. That’s an understatement. It feels like 10 million full rusty knives are slicing me up inside.
This year, I have had dozens of these attacks that last hours and span days, leaving me unable to eat solid food for days or keep anything down. About 99% of the attacks happen at night or early in the morning.
The pain is so intense I throw up and I’ve noticed that during these attacks, the food that I vomit is from meals hours before. For example: I had a bad attack and the next day at 1pm I had a salad. Flash forward to 12 am later, I threw up the whole salad. That’s almost 12 hours of undigested food sitting in my stomach.
This pain is killer guys. I just want to end it when these attacks happen. My quality of life is dropping, and I fear the next time it’ll happen, I can’t even eat without being scared.
On multiple occasions I’ve noticed dark dark urine (could be very dehydrated since I usually can’t keep stuff down during these episodes) but also yellowing of eyes and skin a few times.
I have 5 large gallstones. Im 21 and my bile duct is 5mm, which the tech told me was unusual for my age but still within normal range. No gallstones in my ducts.
The only thing that helps me during these episodes is pressing into my intestines, holding where I feel immense pressure and pain, and slowly working and pulling it down from under my ribs until the pressure eases up a little. This relieves pain 5/10 times temporarily. Does anyone have any experience with this?
The only reasons why I question if it even if my gallbladder is because of the pressure and constipation I get that I can relieve slightly, and the fact that the pain is my complete upper quadrant and not just my right upper quadrant.
Im not looking for any medical advice. I just want to know if any of this sounds familiar :( I need someone to tell me I’m going to live. Should I get my gallbladder taken out??????

2023.05.28 07:19 tonygga Help, my hwfly mariko won't boot when SD card is connected

So, I took my console with someone to install the hwfly and everything went fine, we have the "NO SD CARD" screen and the console can boot correctly on OFW and without SD card, the chip shows green light.
The problem is when he connects the SD card port and turn on the console, the chip shows a flashing yellow light and then turn off, the screen won't turn on.
We tried to connect the SD port (with the SD card in) while the console is on OFW and as son as the port is connected, the console turns off instantly.
We tried using another SD card, another SD port and with different files for CFW and atmosphere, the behavior is the same always.
Another weird thing is that the console on OFW shows the volume menu even if the button is not pressed and even with the button's flex cable is disconnected.
Any ideas?

2023.05.28 07:19 gretwalk Feeling bad that my dog didn’t know it was his last day

I’m not sure why I’m posting here, I guess writing my feelings down and maybe hearing some other people who have the same thoughts could be helpful. I had to say goodbye to my childhood dog about three weeks ago.
My 13 year old dog started having stomach problems a month before he left us, but nothing too severe. In his final week, he didn’t eat or poop at all. We had imaging done and there was most likely cancer blocking his intestines. The vet offered to do surgery in case it was a foreign body, but we were pretty sure it was cancer (he had a tiny growth in that area a few years ago) and we didn’t want to put a 13 year old through surgery.
I know we made the right decision to put him down before it got worse. This wasn’t something that would just go away on its own. But the day of his euthanasia was so weird. We didn’t even know we were going to put him down that morning, we made the decision around noon and had an appointment for 5pm.
He wasn’t his normal self, of course, but he was normal enough that it freaked me out. He greeted me when I walked in the house. He acted like he was interested in the food we offered but couldn’t bring himself to eat it (he did lick some sour cream off of the floor, which I guess is a fun last meal!) He asked to go outside and walked straight to his favorite tree and plopped down under it. I know he wasn’t feeling well but i guess I expected that when the time came to put him down, he’d be really unwell and unable to walk and such. Not acting like a slightly mellower version of his normal self.
What disturbs me most is thinking about how he had had no idea he only had a few hours left alive. He just thought it was a normal day where he was getting a little bit of extra attention. When we finally took him to the vet clinic, he wanted to sniff the bushes outside and pee. A lady outside came over to pet him and say hello and he was happy to meet her, as he always is. He had no idea. It hurts so much to think about that.
I know we made the right call overall, and I’m sure many people wish they had a chance to give their pet a food death before they were in a lot of pain. But does anyone else feel this way about their pet’s passing? It kind of feels like a weird thing to fixate on - he’s a dog who has no concept of death regardless.

2023.05.28 07:18 monday-afternoon-fun I'm working on a concept of GMO humans that can survive in space to keep humans relevant in a spacefaring civilization. Here's an early draft of their set of adaptations, specifically for withstanding hard vacuum. Is there anything I should change, add, or remove?

Here are the adaptations in question. Keep in mind that these GMO humans are designed conservatively. They're meant to be as close to baseline as they can be. As such, most adaptations will try to work off of existing aspects of human biology. Others still might be transplanted over from our mammalian relatives.
  1. Adaptations for handling pressure:
Seeing as the minimum pressure needed to maintain liquid water at body is only 0.06 ATM, and therefore significantly lower than normal human blood pressure, this is actually not as big of a deal as you might think.
The human body is already strong enough not to explode in a vacuum. That said, we can help it along a bit by increasing the natural elastic tension on the skin and connective tissues a little bit and ensuring said elasticity doesn't degrade with age. Basically, we give them the genes for good, strong, and healthy, but otherwise normal skin.
More of a concern is decompression sickness. Being in a pressurized atmosphere and suddenly finding yourself in a vacuum could cause nitrogen bubbles to form in the body. Rapid depressurization may also cause other forms of barotrauma, such as damaged lungs and eardrums. Diving mammals deal with extreme pressures and decompression all the time, and in fact, they deal with pressure differences far larger than what you'd deal with going from 1 ATM to 0. Whatever adaptations they have would be very useful to implant in spacefaring humans. However, I haven't been able to find out what exactly these adaptations are, so for now, this is a work-in-progress.
  1. Adaptations for handling desiccation:
If you put meat in a vacuum chamber, it'll begin to dry out quite quickly. This is because water evaporates spontaneously at any temperature in a vacuum. Any water that diffuses towards the surface of the meat will evaporate immediately and be lost. To stop this, you need to coat the meat in a watertight barrier. Fortunately, evolution has already come up with pathways for achieving just that.
Most land creatures possess a thin layer of compacted dead cells, keratin, and oil covering their skin. Mucus membranes, despite being often kept wet by secretions, also possess a water-resistant epithelium of dead cells and keratin. By thickening and strengthening these, we can ensure water stays trapped in the body in spite of the dehydrating environment of a hard vacuum. Note that both the epidermis in the skin and the epitheliums of mucus membranes are incredibly thin, so a "significant increase" to their thickness would likely hardly be noticeable, except upon close inspection.
The eyes, though, require some special attention. Just as any mucus membrane, their epithelium will be thickened and keratinized further, but just that won't be enough. The eyes also need lubrication, and water won't work for that in a vacuum. Long-chain oils such as lipids, though, are a very promising alternative. The human eye already produces oily lipid tears through the meibomian glands, but only enough to form a thin film over the eye to reduce the evaporation of watery tears. We would need to increase the production of these lipid tears so that there is a sufficient volume of them to act as a lubricant, which altogether shouldn't be too difficult.
  1. Adaptations for handling lack of oxygen:
Hypoxia is the main threat when dealing with hard vacuum exposure, so addressing it is a big priority.
We want to reduce the rate at which the body consumes oxygen, which means taking full advantage of the mammalian dive reflex. We also want to increase the ability to hold oxygen in the body, which means having more hemoglobin in the blood and more myoglobin in the muscles. Having a larger spleen and perhaps many accessory spleens may help with the blood issue.
These adaptations I just described are often found - to an extent - in exceptionally good human divers, but they’re taken to the extreme is in diving mammals, like cetaceans. Whales can have up to 14 spleens, and the myoglobin proteins in their muscles are slightly modified so that they can be packed in large concentrations without spontaneously coagulating. This, combined with their dive reflex, allows some whale species to go for hours without breathing.
  1. Adaptations for dealing with radiation:
This one is gonna be a bit difficult. There is no mammal that is naturally resistant to radiation, and I can't really think of anything in the human body that, with some creative engineering, could be fashioned into a mechanism for preventing or fixing radiation damage. The closest thing to that would be melanin, but that only protects against UV rays. Not to say that melanin wouldn't be helpful, in fact, we would ideally want quite a lot of it in our GMO humans to protect them against the sun's harsh unfiltered UV rays, but it won't cut it for more powerful forms of ionizing radiation.
There is, however, one small rodent mammal that is highly resistant to cancer and aging. I am, of course, talking about the naked mole rat - the only mammal that exhibits negligible senescence. Increased likelihood of cancer and rapid aging are some of the two main dangers of long-term radiation exposure, so bringing whatever anti-cancer and anti-aging mechanisms the naked mole rat possesses over to humans would be very helpful for our purposes of creating GMO astronauts. This is a long shot, but rodents are genetically close to humans, so who knows, that might just work.
  1. Adaptations for moving about in 0G:
Since we're deliberately trying to stay close to baseline humans here, we're unfortunately not going to be able to tap into some of the more optimized body plans for 0G.
That said, we can strike a very good compromise between our two competing requirements if we make one simple but very important change to the human body plan: bring back, through genetic atavism, our opposable big toe. Doing so gives us a more monkey-like body plan. Monkeys evolved to navigate through the complex three-dimensional environment of a tree canopy and so would have little issue navigating ladders and handholds in a 0G environment.
This should be it, for now. Again, this is a very early draft, fresh out of brainstorming, and I'm seeking critique here, so feel free to suggest more ideas or suggest that I change or scrap some things.

2023.05.28 07:17 M_a_l_t_e_s_e_r Foss Rich text editor like samsung notes with widget function?

I'm kindof at my witts end here, I'm looking for an app that: - can do rich text notes, as in I can change text colour or background colour of a section of text via the press of a button (not markdown, I dont want to have to write a line of code to turn text a certain colour)
Doesn't seem like the most demanding featureset yet I've looked through dozens of apps (joplin, obsidian, quillpad, simple notes pro, standard notes, etc.) but none of them have all of these features. Surely I can't be the only person wanting a foss alternative to Samsung notes so I'm a bit stumped that nothing I've found even comes close in terms of functionality. Any help on this subject would be appreciated

Gaming routers are designed to provide a better online gaming experience by reducing lag and improving latency. If you are a serious online gamer, then a gaming router can be a worthwhile investment. It can help to improve your gaming experience and reduce lag, which can give you a competitive edge.

Benefits of Using a Gaming Router:

  • Reduced lag: Lag is the delay between when you press a button on your controller or keyboard and when the action is reflected on the screen. Gaming routers can help to reduce lag by optimizing your network and prioritizing gaming traffic.
  • Improved latency: Latency is the time it takes for data to travel from your computer to the game server. Gaming routers can help to improve latency by using a variety of techniques, such as reducing the distance between your computer and the game server.
  • Faster speeds: Gaming routers typically have faster processors and more memory than traditional routers, which allows them to handle more data at once. This can lead to faster download speeds and less lag during online gaming.
  • Better range: Gaming routers often have more powerful antennas than traditional routers, which can extend the range of your Wi-Fi network. This can be helpful if you have a large home or if you live in an area with a lot of interference.
Advanced security features: Gaming routers often have more advanced security features than traditional routers. This can help to protect your network from hackers and other online threats.

I have no idea I’ve to stop it. If someone slightly gets upset at me for making a mistake? I get upset. If someone’s tone was off, I get upset. If someone tells me to meet in their office privately for a chat I get worried.
I have a hard time leaving work things at work and I think about these things for weeks. I can’t focus on one thing at a time and it leaves me s*icidal sometimes as if that’s the only way to leave my problems.
I have no idea what to do and I’m tired of being told to just toughen up or get over it. It feels like the end of the world when someone gets upset at me or tells me something I like. I don’t make it known that I get upset I just hold it in and cry at the end of the week and take extra pills so I can fall asleep. Please help me

RUSSIAN OFFENSIVE CAMPAIGN ASSESSMENT, MAY 27, 2023 Wagner Group mercenaries appear to be withdrawing from Bakhmut city to reconstitute and regroup in the rear as Russian offensive operations decrease in and around the city. The Russian military command may be transferring Donetsk People’s Republic’s (DNR) forces to relieve Wagner Group forces in Bakhmut city. The Russian transfer of DNR elements to Bakhmut may decrease the tempo of Russian offensive operations on the Avdiivka-Donetsk City line. The Russian military command appears to be reinforcing Bakhmut’s flanks with regular formations, however. Former Russian officer and ardent nationalist Igor Girkin accused Wagner Group financier Yevgeny Prigozhin of planning a coup against the current Russian leadership. Ukrainian officials denied Western reporting that suggested that a Chinese diplomat expressed interest in a negotiated ceasefire in Ukraine amidst the likely renewal of Russia’s information campaign surrounding negotiations. Russian forces continued limited offensive operations northeast of Kupyansk and south of Kreminna. Russian forces continued to launch unsuccessful offensive operations on the Avdiivka-Donetsk City line. Ukrainian forces continued to strike rear logistics nodes in southern Zaporizhia oblast. The Ukrainian Main Military Intelligence Directorate (GUR) warned on May 26 that Russian forces are preparing to conduct large scale provocations to create radiological danger at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP). The Russian Ministry of Justice registered the civil society group “Council of Mothers of Wives” as a foreign agent on May 26, likely to curb resistance to ongoing and future Russian force generation efforts. Russian authorities are escalating efforts to portray Russia as a safe guardian of Ukrainian children.

Lethal Crusher
Hi everyone,
Just wondering what do you think about sacrificing 2 psycommanders plus 3 gold bronzes to evolve either lethal weapon or soul crusher instead of corrosive agent, because I still don't have a duplicate corrosive for prestige. I also don't mind sacrificing psycommander when I know I could get her again every 2 months or so. Although it would be great to have extra gold bronzes so I could keep her.
Thanks it advance

2023.05.28 07:16 rangirajurq I love having “optimizers” or “min/maxers” or even “rules-lawyers” at my table because they CARE about the game!

I am NOT talking about toxic players who are rude and inconsiderate.
What I am talking about is those players who care so much about the game that they make sure to craft the perfect character, usually for combat, by taking the right levels, feats, etc. These players care so much; they are invested!! They want to do things they couldn’t do in real life AKA ROLE PLAY. Give them this opportunity!!
Their carefully crafted build is HUGE for role-play.. is their character particular about certain things? Attention detailed? A long term planner to the point they lose sight of the present? I embrace their build and help them see the role play aspect of it as well. THEY KNOW WHAT THEY WANT. I Ask them, “what’s your goal for this build?” If they want a level in hex blade, well they need to find a patron don’t they? That could be an entire 3-4 sessions right there.
I love my rules lawyers. I even ask them about rules in game because I know they can give me an answer faster than I can look it up. This empowers them, and speeds the game up at the same time! Rules Lawyers are just DMs in training, so I really try to cultivate that.
They can be so useful too! I usually ask my “min/maxers” to help some of the new players level up, or even help them make their character. For some reason it comes across better from a player than from the DM.
These players are passionate about the game, and it just feels good to have players at the table who make it so obvious they care about the game.
If any of my players are reading this, DANIEL, I love you and your Aasimar Sorcerer Hexblade, but Ryan, your 19 passive perception can go to hell.
Edit: I know my players follow me on reddit, so the dig on Ryan’s passive is obviously a joke.

2023.05.28 07:16 ExtentImpossible4416 Where do we go from here?

Where to go from here?
Both of our cars were paid in full with cash and are are good for the foreseeable future.

2023.05.28 07:13 Big-Lawyer-5185 I don't want help

There's no hope for me. There's no drug or medication strong enough to save me from these thoughts and feelings. I'm done. I just want to be dead. I have a large knife but they terrify me. I need a gun. Like, yesterday. It's the only way I'm not scared of. If I had access to one I'd be dead already.

2023.05.28 07:13 wokenthehive Please crop your screenshots properly when posting a profile review

As the title says, when posting a profile review, all 6 photos and 3 prompts must be shown entirely. Very common mistakes that gets posts get rejected include people posting photos and prompts which are cut off or forgetting to include a photo or prompt.
But more importantly, please crop the screenshots to eliminate unnecessary clutter. See this, this, and this as examples where only the relevant info is presented cleanly and clearly.
You don't need to include the top bar with the clock/wifi/battery info or the bottom bar with the home button. Crop out partial prompts or photos when highlighting a particular photo or prompt. If you can't capture a photo and a prompt in one screenshot because it's too long, just make two separate screenshots.
On iPhones, when you screenshot something, you can click on the screenshot to immediately edit it before saving (I assume Android works similarly). Or go into your photo gallery and edit it there. Please just make an little extra bit of effort. You're asking for help here, so the least you can do is make it more easily readable.

2023.05.28 07:11 Intrepid_Beautiful57 5 collisions in less than a yeah

Let me (22f) just start out by saying anyone is allowed to not believe me, many don’t. But this is my truth.
I’ve been driving for 4 years now so I’m a relatively new driver if we’re looking at the big picture. That being said I had a primary job of being a delivery driver, regularly driven to cities 2+ hours away for work, and went to school which was 8 hours away. I live in Canada which puts me in ice, and snow pretty regularly. All and all, I’d never had any issues and always felt comfortable on the road. I still to this day don’t think I’m bad driver and I have many people who would agree. But, that isn’t enough to keep me or my car in the clear recently.
Last July 2022 while waiting to make a right turn, I was rear ended. That’s when it all went downhill. The second the frame was unbent and the bumper was replaced I figured well, that’s unfortunate but hey, life happens.
Then a couple of months later (if even that long) the car ahead of me missed their turn and I wasn’t able to break as quickly as them. I quickly tried to switch lanes and unfortunately hit the car beside me. They were left with quite literally no damage not even a dent or scratch meanwhile I had to pack my bumper into my car and drive home.
That one I figured, okay. Yes, the guy ahead of me breaked hard but, maybe I could have done something differently. I could have hit him and gotten in a yelling match like those crazies online about whose fault it was and felt better about the situation. Ultimately though, it was something I just said was unfortunate.
Then, maybe 4 months go by. I’ve started to get the confidence back, I’m thinking 2022 wasn’t my driving year. 2023 will be better though just like every other year previously had been. I was wrong.
A few months ago in February 2023 I’m waiting at a red light, my little cousin sitting in the passenger side beside me. I see a car in my rear mirror going a little too fast for comfort, immediately crash into me. My cousin and I end up in the hospital with whip lash and pretty bad concussions. My poor car that had already been through the ringer, totalled.
But life goes on, I have insurance and they gave me a nice new rental car in the meantime (you always have to look on the good side).
1 week to the day later while driving to my mom’s house in that rental car, a big weasel looking thing I can only imagine was a fisher comes out from no where and takes a chunk out of my bumper. Thank goodness I had extra coverage and just swapped the car for a new one no problems.
Now, almost a month ago with some money I had saved up and the money I got from insurance, I bought a used car. It had a crack in the bumper but overall it was pretty minor and i bought it for a good deal. Even better, they said they would replace the bumper free of charge - which they fix did 5 days ago.
Now, my mom lives in a city about 45 minutes away from me. I just drove to her house to see her. On my way there a raccoon ran right in front of my car at the very last second possible. Cracked my brand new bumper.
To anyone who has swerved an animal or may be thinking I could have just avoided them the two times, honestly maybe I could have. I have successfully swerved a raccoon once before.
Maybe if I was a top tier driver I would know the exact mechanics of how to not hit an animal, I don’t know. But where I live hitting a living animal isn’t considered an at fault collision and that’s because it’s no easy task. That’s considering if and when it is an at all humanly possible task while still avoiding other cars on the road.
Honestly, I’m not looking for negativity or judgement about my skills, I’m just sad and confused and truthfully looking for advice. Whether it be spiritually, emotionally, or even logistically, I just don’t know what to do or how to think. I feel like I’m trapped in a series of unfortunate events I can’t get out of.
Has this kind of cycle happened to anyone else? What should I do and am I thinking too deeply about it by thinking it’s bigger than just bad luck - what is the meaning and what am I supposed to take from all of this?
Tldr: I keep getting into car collisions. I’ve had a lot of driving and a clean record for 3 years but this past year I’ve had 5 collisions (4 of which I’d be considered 0% at fault). What does this mean, has this “bad luck” happened to anyone else, and what can I learn/takeaway from this?
