2023.05.28 09:36 KKKopsAreEvil Pioneer Elite CLD-99 on ebay for $999.99 plus $28 dollar shipping. Overpriced or Fair price? This is an opinion topic obviously. There are no right or wrong answers.

I paid $506 for my Pioneer Elite CLD-99 probably about 2-3 months ago. The $6 was the cost of the giftcard I used on it. So technically I paid exactly $500 for it including the taxes and shipping from the seller. Mine did not come with a remote and I just use one of my other Pioneer remotes but what is annoying about this specific player when it doesn't have it's original remote is that the open button has to be pressed manually which I guess isn't that big of a deal breaker.
With all that said what would you value this at with the proper remote? I think around $600-$700 if I was to put a value on a complete Pioneer Elite CLD-99. Yes, I know that this specific model has 3d comb filter in the s-video which was not available on any other USA released laserdisc player that I know of. However I think 999 dollars is a steep price for a laserdisc player. I don't see it selling for that price and I think seller would even be luck if someone offered him $700 or $650 for it. Ebay probably not the best place to sell on because they take what 13 or 14 percent of the final sale? If this player came with the original box. I think 800-900 probably wouldn't be too crazy ask for.

So we’ve all seen the threads complaining that sales are way down and Depop is dead etc. I only joined in June last year, but after a month of not much activity I had 4 - 5 months in a row where my Depop was booming. I was earning the equivalent of a decent full time wage. Since Jan my Depop has fallen off a cliff and while I still have the odd decent week here and there, sales are down to probably less than 50 percent of what they were in my ‘boom time’.
Anyway, I noticed this one girl kept popping up on my recommended page recently. There would be multiple items of hers recommended to me even though some of the stuff was so not my style or what I’d ever buy.
I’ve been watching her profile closely as she’s as a new seller. About 4 weeks ago she had 70 sold items and maybe like 20 positive reviews. Today she has over 190 sales!!!
Considering she’s selling thrifted vintage clothing which is largely very random and average (no designer, no specific aesthetic but I guess leaning towards a Y2k vibe in general) I find this super impressive. While I’m making like 6 sales a week, she seems to be making 4 per day and in all honesty our stock is comparable, if anything I’d say mine is of a higher quality.
Her prices are also insane, like $85 for a “vintage Y2k textured brown top” which is literally just a plain brown long sleeve that has a bit of a interesting texture with a V neck. Heaps of her stuff is over $100 and absolutely not worth that cost.
I’m just curious if anyone else has noticed very new sellers really taking off recently. I’m pretty jealous tbh but good for her.
The only thing I can differentiate between her and other sellers that sell similar items is that she’s very skinny and has a great bod and has quite an interesting look (she has a big fro but looks to be of Japanese parents).
Every day there’s more of her items in my recommended page, despite me now following her or liking any items.

Hi guys, I just incorporated my Saas company in the US [ Single Member LLC ] as a non US citizen, I would love to know if anybody here went through the process of calling the IRS in order to get their EIN [ Business Tax ID ]. there is nor much info about how the process should go during the phone call from the IRS website, so I would appreciate if somebody can share with how did that phone call go !
Mainly these questions : 1] Did you have to spell everything for them on the SS4 form 2] Did they ask you to fax the form during the call and wait for it to arrive ? 3] Did they give you your EIN during the phone call ?4] anything else I should have ready or prepare for ?

I’m someone who immigrated to Netherlands in 2021, and I’ve recently did a tax return for the first time in my life - but from my tax advisor I’ve heard that I didn’t need to file if my assets were below the 30.000€ mark, but I also heard some others reporting even then and wanted to do a correction on it (does not change anything on returns and such.
However, anxiety caught me and I did file in multiple corrections. I wonder if they only care about the latest entry I submit or would there be a fine in this case?

Hello I graduated last may with a double major in Economics and Japanese and a 3.9 GPA. I wasn't able to find an internship during college and I have no work experience. I've sent my resume to all the staffing agencies I could find, tried reaching out to alumni, and applied to probably 800 jobs. Honestly I'm getting super depressed by now and don't think I'll ever be able to find a job. I don't think I have a good personality for sales and most sales jobs are commission based so I probably wouldn't make much and/or get fired. I started off by applying for jobs in Finance but that wasn't going anywhere so I started applying to any jobs that are entry level/don't require a specific degree and by now I've even tried getting a job at a supermarket. I don't know if I'm cursed or something. I've had around 6-7 interviews but most of those were just introductory phone calls and I've never gotten a second interview. Any ideas?

I moved cantons last year and somehow they never sent me any info about prepaying for my taxes so I just saved the money myself each month and paid now before the final deadline. But now I am wondering can I just do that each year or will I get in trouble? Is it mandatory to pay it in advance through the year? Any tips to maximise this?

I just recently lost my mother from cancer a month ago and my father from a heart attack 3 years ago. Things are really hard right now and it feels like its just going to get harder. Aside from the grieving I now have so many responsibilities like the Estate work, Insurance, Taxes/Debts, Company liabilities etc. and to be quite honest I don't see much of a future, I've just been so stressed and depressed these past weeks. I want to talk to someone either in person or online, preferably as cheap as possible, maybe there are free options for young males or just overall good options both financially and effectively. I just want to openly talk to someone, it seems hard to do that nowadays.
What are your thoughts?

I'm John (Filipino) and I was recently terminated from my last job as a sales representative of a BPO company. I need to list the skills I have learned through those 11months in that last company but with that record, I have been declined by a handful of hiring companies due to my termination (I slept in the middle of the shift because I have been lacking sleep for working the 2$/hour WFH Job, no complaints), I just burned out...
I am hanging on, but I am running out of options and leads on where to look for jobs that can help me support myself through college.
Can anyone please help me find a VA Job so that I can continue going to school in the morning and work atleast part time in the evening... maybe land a 5$ per hour WFH job part time so that I can still have ample of sleep for school in the morning...
